A public bounty mechanism for the September Attention Camera. A first-seen tweet earns a queued 1 QUAI bounty. Duplicate sightings do not pay immediately; they become validation signals for future quadratic matching based on how widely the communication moved across independent participants.

Custody boundary: this page describes the bounty ledger. It does not run a funded hot wallet. Current payouts are queued for manual QUAI payment until a burner-wallet signer is deployed and hardened. Queued is not paid. It is a promise-shaped receipt, not money-shaped magic.

If the collector has never seen a tweet ID before, the first valid receipt queues a 1 QUAI manual payout to the submitted payout address.

Duplicate receipts become validation signals. They can earn future matching after review when they prove independent attention from different operators, surfaces, or time windows.

Quadratic breadth

Matching should reward network breadth, not spam volume. Ten independent validators matter more than one person refreshing the same tweet ten times.

How the mechanism works

A participant installs the September Attention Camera and optionally adds a QUAI payout address.

The camera captures visible public attention receipts from X/Substack/network pages.

The server normalizes tweet IDs and checks whether each tweet has been seen before.

New tweet IDs queue immediate 1 QUAI manual bounties. Duplicate tweet IDs queue validation signals.

Funding model

The duplicate side is quadratic because validation value should rise with independent breadth:

What counts

Counts should favor communications expanding through the network:

✓ different operators ✓ different audiences/surfaces ✓ later sightings after propagation ✓ visible engagement deltas ✓ receipts tied to real public pages × synthetic smoke × private/doxxing material × same operator refresh spam × duplicate ID pretending to be a new tweet
